This study is undertaken to produce and updated geological map, to determine heavy metals concentration and distribution in Chiku River and to plot the concentration distribution of heavy metals into anomaly map by using ArcGIS. Felda Perasu which is located at the Gua Musang Kelantan is a part of central belt. Central belt is believed as a part for mineralization. During conducting this research, several problems have been identified. There is limited research regarding heavy metals in study area and there is no updated geological map as geological map can act as reference for geologist. For general geology, field studied and rock sampling is carried out. Structural geology such as lineament and joint and geomorphology of the study area is observed. The sample of the rock was collected in study area and the coordinate must be recorded. The petrography analysis is conducted to determine the type of rock and its formation. For geochemical analysis, field study and laboratory analysis is conducted, where 9 sediment samples along river are collected. Rock sample and soil sample is then being identified. For rock sample, there are 4 type of rock which is shale, pyroclastic tuff, sandstone and limestone. For soil sample, it is analyzed by using XRF and there are 5 heavy metals present which is Fe,TI, Mn, Zr and V. From the research, it has been identified that the study area which is Felda Perasu, Gua Musang, Kelantan is belonged to Gua Musang formation and Gunung Rabong formation. Chiku River is save for human activity however there is still need to control human activity such as combustion and use of pesticide.
