Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is a relatively new concept in Malaysia. Many studies had been conducted to find out major intention for gearing towards social entrepreneurship (shaw & carter, 2007). Despite the fact that it is widely accept that social entrepreneur makes a significant contribution to an economy, research into the intention of students to enroll and complete formal enterprise education is limited (Carsrud & Brannback, 2011). However, none of these studies social entrepreneurial intention formation among University student. This research proposal is an extensive study of social entrepreneurial intention formation. While (Mair, Robinson, & Hockerts, 2006) have an initial model in social entrepreneurial intention formation, it has not been validated empirically. To address this gap, this study extends earlier research and to examine the social entrepreneurial intention among University Malaysia Kelantan undergraduates' student. The three intention factor are: empathy, experiences, and perceived feasibility.research er conducted survey with 130 undergraduate students from University Malaysia Kelantan and questionnaire were distributed to them. In order to generalize this study, this study will employed Pearson Correlation Coefficient analyze the survey result. In conclusion, the result showed that all the intention factors have a significant relationship with social entrepreneurial intention
