Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affecting buying decision of hotel among leisure travelers who overnight in Langkawi Island based on price, service quality, facilities, location and security. Hotels constitute one of the main, and still expanding, pillars of this sector and are highly unique among other commercial buildings. They are designed to provide comfort and services twenty-four/seven. In order to achieve these objectives, quantitative method will be used to analyze the data. Questionnaires will be distributes to 100 respondents. Besides that, frequencies statistic and reliability analysis will be used to analyze the data. Based on the analyzed, security is the strongest compared to other independent variables for example price, service quality, location and facilities of hotel. It can be concluded that it will be the factor that will affect buying decision making of hotel’s room when travellers travel to Langkawi Island. It is expected that the findings of this research will bring extra knowledge for future researchers in future
