Anthropological activities nowadays affecting our wildlife environment in an adverse effect. Poaching or known as illegal hunting are one inclining factor that become serious issue to be taken of. In this study, determination of poaching spots become prime objectives to be studied. In order to strengthen the findings in poaching study, illegal activities such as encroachment, tree marking signs and foreign campsite are considered as second objectives for determination of illegal activities in Gunung Basor Forest Reserve. Utilization of camera trap help in identifying specific spots that possibly be the hot spots in the study area. Site tracking are the main procedure in findings result for the objectives of the study. Infoment or personal conversation that lead to any information of the study are also recorded for purpose of the study. Finally, the results showed that the traps for poaching evidence were identified in abundance at area with ease of access. The results for illegal acivities also are identified spotted together at the south east of GBFR. These two results led to conclusion of accessibilities and abundance of illegal activities made poaching issue more critical to the area. Therefore, establishment of wildlife protection and enforcement team network are recommended to be established to provide a greater and more promosing futures for our biodiversity.
