Full text not available from this repository.Abstract
Geological mapping was conducted within Kg Stong ,Dabong area and streets , drainage, structures, lithology boundary that absent within the previous map were updated. GIS application were used to export all the data collected in the field. The study area are located on N 5 °18' (I' to N 5° 20' 0" and E 102° 0'0" and E 102° 2' 0" . At the end of the research, the geological mapping of Kg Stong, Dabong can be explained and updated. Karst is a landscape that formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks, like limestone, dolomite and gypsum. Limestone is the sedimentary rock that composed mainly composed of calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate ( CaCO₃). Geochemistry analysis is used to determine the chemical content of the limestone. The objectives of this research is to determine geochemicalproperties on limestone karst, and to classify the limestone karst based ongeochemical data. Based on the Wet Test, the samples are classify as calcitic limestone.
