This research was conducted to study the genetic variability in different varieties of Ficus deltoidea from different accessions by using isozymes as the protein markers through the sodium dodecyl polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) technique. 6 different varieties of Ficus deltoidea from different geographical were analyzed for their genetic variation. The leaves of the sample plants were use as the source of protein that is used for the analysis. The amount of protein content in the sample plants were also estimated by using BSA as the standard for comparison. The variation in regards to the geographical distribution were proven.
