Geological research include lithology, geological structure, geomorphology, stratigraphy and petrography in Ulu Lalat, Gua Musang located at coordinate 101°51'38.23"E and 4°58'34.24"N. Geological data in study area is very limited. The objectives of this research are to produce geological map of study area, determine the characteristics of igneous intrusion and determine the type of igneous intrusion. Lithology found in the area are granite, sandstone, shale, limestone and marble. This research was conducted by doing fieldwork and laboratory analysis. Aspect that considered in fieldwork is observation towards lithology for every unit rocks found in study area, geomorphology and structural geology. Laboratory analysis is include analyzing hand specimen, thin section observation and point counting. From fieldwork analysis, characteristics found was clearly show igneous intrusion phenomena happened here. The characteristics are dome structure landform, radial and annular drainage system, marble formation and baking effect on limestone caused by contact metamorphism between igneous intrusion and limestone. By petrography analysis, rock physical characteristic and mineral contained proved the rock is intrusive rock that undergo slow cooling process beneath the Earth's surface. After carried out this research, all objective has been passed. The geological map of study area has been produced based on lithology found. Characteristics of the igneous intrusion have been determined by three aspect that is petrography, geomorphology and structural geology. From all the characteristics found, it was similar with igneous intrusion laccoliths type.
